3. Test Principle
The tester adopts a destructive air pressurization method (pressurizing to burst or to a specified pressure) to test the sealing performance of packages. Based on different standards, it can perform four test types: burst test, leakage test, creep test, and bubble test.
Test results can be presented as a combination of multiple parameters, including test pressure, holding time, test package location, and leak location.
4. Test Methods
4.1 Burst Test
The instrument continuously increases pressure inside the package until the package bursts.
Compliant Standards: ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054, YY/T 0681.3, YY/T 0681.9
4.2 Leakage Test
After inflating the package to a preset pressure, the pressure is maintained for the required test duration. Pressure management and leakage detection are conducted in accordance with standards, with optional test conditions (unconstrained or with a limiting plate).

4.3 Creep Test
A constant pressure (close to the burst limit) is applied inside the package and maintained for a set time. The sealing performance is evaluated during the pressure-holding period.
Optional Modes: Creep, Creep to Failure

4.4 Bubble Test
The package is submerged in water, then pressurized to a predetermined pressure and held for a preset time (bubbles indicate leakage).
