Test Principle
Operating on the coulometric sensor method, the Y310L clamps pre-conditioned specimens in a test cell. One side of the specimen is exposed to oxygen or air, while high-purity nitrogen flows on the opposite side. Oxygen molecules permeating through the specimen are carried by nitrogen to the coulometric sensor, which analyzes concentration in real time to calculate accurate oxygen transmission rates (OTR).
