Product Introduction
The N900 Textile Air Permeability Tester is developed in accordance with the standard GB/T 5453-1997 Determination of Air Permeability of Textiles. It is a high-precision testing instrument integrating mechanics, electronics, and software for experimental testing. It adopts a high-precision pressure sensor to replace the traditional water column differential pressure method, ensuring high accuracy of test data. Equipped with a liquid crystal display and touch screen operation, test parameters can be set digitally, making it convenient and efficient.
It is suitable for the determination of air permeability of various textile fabrics, including industrial fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and other air-permeable textile products. Through the test results of textile gas transmission rate, the air permeability of different textiles can be compared, and at the same time, it provides numerical reference for the air permeability of some special-purpose fabrics such as parachutes, sails, and spacesuits.
Testing Principle
Air permeability refers to the property of air passing through fabrics; it is expressed as the rate at which air flows vertically through the sample under specified test area, pressure drop, and time conditions.
Under specified differential pressure conditions, the air flow rate passing vertically through a given area of the sample within a certain time is measured, and parameters such as air permeability are calculated.
