The coefficient of friction is a physical quantity that characterizes the slipperiness of packaging materials. It is divided into two types: dynamic friction coefficient and static friction coefficient. It is an important testing index for packaging materials. The friction coefficient is directly related to the smooth progress of the packaging process. In order to keep the friction coefficient meter in good working condition and have a long service life, it should be inspected every 1-2 years to ensure the correctness of various indexes.
National Standard: "GB 10006-1988 Method for Measuring the Coefficient of Friction of Plastics and Sheets". This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 8295-1986 "Plastics-Films and Sheets-Determination of Coefficient of Friction"
This standard specifies the methods for determining the coefficient of static and dynamic friction when plastic films and sheets slide on the surface of themselves or other materials.
Maintenance and maintenance of friction coefficient tester:
1. When the friction testing machine is in use, the parts of the testing machine should be wiped clean frequently. After wiping clean the surface without spray paint, apply a small amount of oil to cotton yarn and wipe again to prevent rust. During the rainy season, you should pay more attention to wiping, and cover it with a machine coat to prevent dust from intruding when not in use.
2. Be careful not to let oil and dust enter the electrical control box. When an unclear fault occurs, the user should promptly report to the manufacturer for a proper solution.
When the instrument is used, wipe all parts clean and put it in the box. The instrument should be in a dry and ventilated room without acid and corrosive volatiles.
3. When the testing machine is not used for a long time, a proper amount of lubricating oil should be injected into the rotating part regularly to ensure the good working condition of the machine. When accessories and spare parts are not in use, they should be neatly placed in the corresponding accessory box, and rust-prone parts should be coated with anti-rust oil.
4. The friction coefficient tester is a precision instrument. It is necessary to protect each part of its mechanism so as not to affect the accuracy of the test. If you are not familiar with the structure of the instrument, you should carefully read the instruction manual before using it and clarify the structure and function of each part. And the operation method of the instrument, except for the permitted activities or dismantling parts on the instrument, the instrument should not be disassembled casually.
